Red

This weekend I went for a hike at Red Canyon Park. I have been there before, but I didn’t spend a whole lot of time there. There are no trails there so I zigzagged through the park seeing the sights. I climbed up on the rocks above the canyon and wandered through the washes that run through the canyons. Here are the pictures.
These cool rocks are on private property outside the park.

Looks like a pretty cool place. I saw snow on the ground. How was the temperature? We got about 2 and 1/2 inches of snow here.

An interesting looking place. And it looks like a good place to hike in February.

We got a half inch of snow at our house last night. I'm going to hit Carter & Cara with a snowball when I see them today.

The snow is in the shady spots. It wasn't much. Just enough to enhance the beauty. The temperature was probably in the lower 40's while I was hiking. It probably got into the upper 50's this weekend.
