Climb That Hill Again

My Thanksgiving hike was a repeat this year. I hiked up Midland Hill (9,556 ft.) which is located outside of Buena Vista. I did this hike 2 years ago. There was a bit more snow this time. It was quite beautiful. The weather was perfect. No wind! Here are the pictures.

History indicates that the Pilgrims & the Indians celebrated the 1st Thanksgiving eating & drinking firewater. Following the celebration the Indians shared their knowledge about the value of putting a fish in the soil when they planted corn to make it grow better. One day the Pilgrims found a dead whale washed up on the beach. They dragged it into the middle of their field & planted their corn in circles around it. And that is the first know record of crop circles.
