Schindleria Praematurus

I hiked to Hartenstein Lake today. The lake is west of Buena Vista. Denny Creek is the trailhead for it. It is a popular trailhead because it is also the trailhead for Mt. Yale. The lake is at an elevation of 11,451 feet. So it is just below treeline. It is still quite scenic and is a beautiful hike.

As for title of this post, it is a nod to my favorite bass player of all time, Chris Squire of Yes, who passed away over the weekend.

Nice pics. Looks like a good hike. Plenty of altitude too.
