Waterfall

I hiked to Browns Creek Falls and Browns Creek Lake on Sunday. The trailhead for the hike is simply called Brown Creek Trailhead. It is near Salida. I used this trailhead last year to climb Mt. Antero. Browns Creek Falls is about 2.5 miles from the trailhead. It is another 3 miles to Browns Creek Lake from the waterfall. I’m guessing most people stop at the falls. I didn’t see anyone until I got back to the waterfall. I imagine the lake can be busy though. It can be reached from the west by a 4WD road. I stayed on the east side of the lake and avoided the 4WD road. Anyway, here are the pictures.

Nice waterfall. I can see why people hike to it. Pretty good volume of water to.
