Another Post in the Blog (Part 1)

Today, I climbed Chief Mountain (11,709 Ft.). If it sounds familiar, I was here in August of 2007 with some friends. It is an easy, short hike near Evergreen. So it is quite close, and it is also a beautiful hike. It was nice to breathe in the thin air and enjoy the scenery. Five 14ers are visible from the summit.

Mt. Flora, where I hiked last week, is on the horizon above my head

You get down off that rock before you fall & hurt yourself.

Yet here I am 3 yrs later in another house with more house projects.

I remember finding the geocache tucked away under a rock. GPS, we don't need no stinking GPS.

I looked for the geocache, but I didn't see it. I guess it had been moved.

Are you a geocacher now? I met some geocachers the other day in the Niagara gorge.

Surprisingly, I have never gone geocaching. I have a GPS unit, but I got that "We don't need no stinking GPS" attitude when comes to finding my way. If I ever do use it, it will probably be the geocache thing.
